I really like the 10 Commandments. They're pretty simple and straightforward. Can't really quibble with them because they make a lot of sense for inter-personal interactions. I like the logic.
So, why is there a question about homosexuality? I get that there are other passages that teach against it but those passages aren't as clear-cut for me as they seem to be for many other people. I don't see anything in the 10 Commandments about homosexuality. Not saying it's right just wondering about it. Anyone want to give me good, clear-cut Bible reasons to be anti-gay? It doesn't have to be join the Phelps campaign reasoning (I don't think they reason anything) but it would be nice to see something truly clear-cut about it.
See? Slippery Slope Speculating is a good title.

I like them too. I believe they are superceded by the commandment of Christ to love one another. (That one pretty much covers them all.) Even the other places that preach against homosexuality are covered by this. You may not like the lifestyle, but you must love the people. So all other aguments aside - anti-gay is not a Christian attitude. (Oops - did my "church" teach me that?)
How about these?
Leviticus 18:22 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Romans 1:26-27: "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."
1Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals,nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Would you like more? You are free to believe what ever you want, but the truth is still the truth, and the consequences are those that God set up, whether you choose to believe or not.
